Summer Solstice Giclee – Front Lobby

Robert Williams Summer Solstice – 5:21 am, June 21, 2015

from Cattle Point Star Park – Sunrise June 21 over Chatham and Discovery Islands

Julian Hancock suggested we get a second canvas – one for the front lobby too. We have produced a giclee of the Summer Solstice taken at the same time and date from Cattle Point courtesy of Robert Williams. You can see from the cloud formation it was taken at the exact time as Dr. Ross’s image now hung in the 3rd floor lobby – i.e. at 05:21 am on June 21, 2015. This is no coincidence as we were taking photos of the 2015 Summer Solstice all along the Oak Bay Seafront.

The giclee (print on canvas) is hung where the old clock was in the front lobby.

Hope you like it and that everytime you leave or come home, it makes you feel good.

Last minute cheques or cash please drop in my letter box at #104. We are just 2 donations short after we made the front lobby giclee a little larger than planned.

By the way many thanks to digital photo expert Terry Zlot who has amazed us with his company’s skills and capability. He is at “The Print Lab” on Bowker in Oak Bay. HeSafety
